Happy New Year Everyone!  We hope you all had a happy holiday season and that you welcomed 2010 with cheer.

Warren/Dub/WJ (or however you know my lovely husband) and I had a very quiet holiday season. Even though we were on our own this year we had a special holiday. We stayed busy with shopping in Seattle and snowboarding at Mt. Baker. We didn't take any pictures in Seattle but you will see a couple pictures from snowboarding.

Our first snowfall of the year came a week before Christmas, quickly melting away the next day.

It's easy to catch sunrise from our backyard when the sun comes up at 7:45 AM.

Sunsets are a bit harder as you need a clear day and a drive to the other side of the island.  Also sunset is tough to catch during the work week since it sets at 4:00 PM.

This is our local snowboarding mountain, Mt. Baker. Awarded shortest lift lines by transworld snowboard magazine...sorry no action shots this time.

Our drive home from our first snowboarding day this season.

Question of the day, do I buy another pair? I know such an odd concept to have gloves on your feet, but let me tell you I took the plunge and I think I really like them! I still haven’t tried them with shoes but around the house, I’m digging ‘em.

Sorry if this is a repeat to all that may have seen my FB post...do you think turning our American presidents into chia pets is the best way to celebrate America?  Go see for yourself , www.americanchia.com.

We have many photos to show you so we will be back soon...
